Relaxation is a skill. This may sound surprising and that it should be easy but itβs not. Weeding out negativity, excessive worry, destructive thoughts, and excess tension requires a conscious effort.
The fact that addiction in many forms (food, alcohol, social media, etc.) is rampant in society indicates that we are not relaxing but self-medicating in our effort to achieve what we think is relaxation.
Excessive exercise and constantly working overtime helps us to avoid quiet time by wearing us out through adrenal exhaustion. The endocrine system is so worn down, the individual crashes into sleep instead of relaxing and falling asleep.
Hypnotherapy and guided imagery are excellent for reducing the effects of anxiety, insomnia, social anxiety, panic attacks, and post traumatic stress disorder. It is also good for weight reduction, overeating, binge eating, and creating a positive relationship with food. Work and sport's performance recordings are available as well.

Personalized Guided Imagery & Hypnotherapy Recordings - $150
Acupuncturist and hypnotherapist Dr. Kathleen Fraser designs a personal guided imagery/hypnotherapy recording based on your goal(s), what is motivating you, and what is challenging you. The recording is downloaded to a MP3 recording and sent to you by email for your personal use.
You may listen by computer, tablet, or phone. Listening to your recording reaffirms your motivations, addresses your challenges, and helps you move forward to achieve your goal.
Meditation vs. Hypnotherapy
Hypnotherapy differs from meditation in that it trains the mind and body to think and act towards the goals you wish to achieve. By facilitating the patientβs ability to focus their mind, Dr. Fraser helps patients with weight management, work and sportβs performance, anxiety, and more. Dr. Fraser has over 20 years guiding hypnotherapy and meditation sessions for groups and individuals.

Guided Meditation and Acupuncture for Stress Management
This is a unique mind/body fully immersive experience of deep relaxation fused with life affirming messages that empower the mind. Each participant receives an acupuncture treatment. While participants are resting, Dr. Kathleen Fraser will speak a guided meditation to help ease unnecessary tension while focusing your mind and strengthening your motivation to achieve your goals. This is a small group class.
